The Beckett Mug
October is World Down Syndrome Awareness month, and this special mug was designed in honor of Beckett Weinert, a little boy with Down Syndrome who went home to Heaven in May 2021. 100% of the proceeds from the Beckett Mug will go to pro-life ministries that serve special needs babies and children, particularly those with Down Syndrome.
Beckett Weinert was born October 26, 2019 to Peter and Stephanie Weinert. In his eighteen short months of life, he brought unspeakable joy to his parents, his four older siblings, and the thousands who followed his story on Instagram. Beckett would have turned 2 years old this month, and in honor of his birthday, his family is using the Beckett Mug to raise awareness of the beauty of Down Syndrome and to raise funds to support babies and children with special needs.
The story behind the mug:
The yellow and blue flowers represent the colors of World Down Syndrome Awareness. The mug features Psalm 27:14, a favorite Bible verse of Beckett’s Dad. Psalm 27 was read to Beckett just moments before he went to Heaven, and is etched on his tombstone. Throughout Beckett’s life, the Blessed Mother was a constant source of strength and grace to his whole family, especially his mom. The Marian Auspice hidden among the flowers is a tribute to Mama Mary.
Thank you for helping the Weinert family raise money this October for special needs babies and children. 100% of the proceeds from mug sales will go to charity. We invite you to share Beckett’s story and your Beckett Mugs on social media using the hashtag #ourheartsarewithbeckett
