Everyday, the young St. Therese would try to be selfless for Jesus, but she found it was very difficult. Therese began carrying a string of beads in her pocket to help remind her that each sacrifice she made was a present to Jesus. Whenever she offered a present to him by letting go of what she wanted, Therese would slide a bead in her pocket. At the end of the day, she was able to see how many gifts she had given to Jesus.
You can use your beads just like St. Therese to find little ways in your day to make sacrifices to Jesus.

Quick and easy craft, used these for a date night. I love how the beads slide.
I ordered four sets of these for myself and 3 Godchildren (1 metal, 1 wood, 2 tye dye). It was such a fun little project, with clear instructions that 6 year olds can follow. We're using them for lent together. I haven't gotten any feedback on the tye dye yet, but the metal and wood set are having issues with the beads staying in place for tracking. I'm wondering if the bead holes are too big for the cord or if I needed a bigger space left for tracking, but there really wasn't room to leave more space. Any suggestions? Thinking I might try redoing them with longer and thicker cord.
