Hi, I’m Raquel – Creator of The Little Rose Shop

I’m a Catholic wife, mom, former school counselor and creator at heart. I live by the motto "Created to Create", inspired by St. John Paul II’s Letter to Artists (seriously, go read it!). For me, creativity isn’t just about making beautiful things—it’s about weaving faith into the crumbs and chaos everyday life.

Why The Little Rose Shop Exists

The Little Rose Shop was born out of my own journey of faith and motherhood. At 21, I became a single mom in college. It was a season that challenged me to my core but also led to a powerful reconversion to my Catholic faith. I realized that if I wanted my faith to truly anchor me, I needed to own it and integrate it into my life more authentically.

Through that experience, I discovered the importance of surrounding myself with reminders of God’s love, hope, and presence—even in the everyday chaos. I started designing practical reminders of the faith which eventually became The Little Rose Shop.
