Inspiration behind the design: Spring Swaddles and Blankets

Wrapping our babies, tucking them in, grabbing a “blankie” for a car ride or trip, or snuggling up on the couch with a blanket are small but beautifully tangible ways that we create physical comfort. These warm, cozy, and sweet smelling items often go unnoticed but carry us through the ups and downs of life. I believe this to be an analogy of God’s love for us. Ready to cover us, comfort us, keep us warm, or simply to be next to for a movie or book.

Our new spring collection of swaddles and blankets feature designs near and dear to my heart. Let’s take a look!

Benedict medal- St. Benedict’s medal is one of the most powerful spiritual forms of protection. The medal has been known to ward off evil and temptation, help women during childbirth, preserve and seek purity, and grant the grace of a peaceful death. Who wouldn’t want to wrap their sweet babe in this powerful medal?

Floral Holy Family Hearts- Wrap up under the protection of the Holy Family. In the design, notice the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Most Chaste Heart of Joseph. These delicate yet strong hearts remind us of the perfect love of the Holy Family, giving us comfort and warmth in the form of a muslin blanket or swaddle.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made- Inspired by Psalm 139:14, gently remind yourself and your new babe of the gift from God. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Whisper these words during late nights, long days, and in times of gentleness and care to engrain this in your sweet babe’s hearts.
