Prayed Over
No matter what you get, know that a little prayer was said while in the making.
Such a cute book! It’s got great saints and the quality feels great. I’m always so pleased with my purchases from The Little Rose Shop.
Adorable!
Bought this at Easter for grandchild. Mom, children and grandmother found it irresistible to put down!
Very cute and creative kids book that teaches about Saints. It’s a beautiful and fun way to help a child believe they are called to be a Saint.

Our grandson loves the pictures and pull-out features of this great Catholic Saint book. Very sturdy and cute.
This was the second time I purchased this book. The first time I purchased one for my own baby. It was such a simple yet beautiful and fun book for babies that I had to get one for a baby shower too. It is a very well made boo with bright colors and smooth moving parts that my daughter (10 months) really enjoys.

Peek-a-boo Saints Catholic Board Book
Such a fun book for my nephew for Christmas! He loved it!
I purchased the bundle for both Peek-a-boo Saints 1 and 2. The pages feel thick and high quality. The colors are more subdued compared to the primary colors typical of children’s books, and they have subtle raised (embossed) areas and high shine design elements. The saints play peek-a-boo by sliding out either from the top or outside edge of a page or by the turn of a wheel. My favorite, which happens to be in the first book, St. Nicholas and St. Lucy on the same two page spread which makes sense because liturgically their feast days are close to each other. Between the two books, Mother Mary, Mother Teresa, and Padre Pio are not referred to as saints despite all of them actually being saints. My biggest quibble is that the sliding portions are not smooth operating; some are fine, and some work better from one side or the other. Because the moving parts don’t operate smoothly that’s why I think these books need supervision. The wheels work smoothly. Also, the sentences don’t vary much, ‘Saint XYZ is praying for you,’ until the last page. So it’s best to know a little information about the saints, incase your little one asks.
Thank you so much for this detailed feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. These books were designed for the earliest readers, to get them familiar with the Saints and their names, and we certainly hope they can create learning opportunities for parents and kids together! We chose to use the most common names to refer to each one, knowing they are all Saints, but reffering to them as we think most people typically do in casual conversation - this is why the format of the names vary, and was certainly an interesting thing to think through! Many of the sliders that might be sticking should get easier to use with repetition. If you experience any truly stubborn ones, feel free to let us know and we can take a closer look! Thanks agian!
This will be a new baby gift for my 11th grandchild. I can't wait to give it. The Peek-a-Boo Saints book is a unique Catholic gift.

Bought as gift for our grandson. My daughter-in-law said it was really cute and well-done!
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I share Saint stories with my kids?
Start with Saints as friends who pray for them. Peek-a-boo Saints does exactly that: each slider reveals a Saint with a short rhyme your child will soon repeat. The book includes St. Michael the Archangel, St. Joan of Arc, St. Nicholas, St. Lucy, St. Therese of Lisieux, Padre Pio, St. Clare of Assisi, St. Francis of Assisi and Mother Mary.
What age is Peek-a-boo Saints for?
The book meets child safety standards for ages 3 and up. Sturdy board pages, sliders, gold foil and embossing make it a book toddlers and preschoolers want to hold, and younger siblings love hearing it read aloud.
Is Peek-a-boo Saints a good Baptism or Easter basket gift?
It suits both. The rhymes carry the message that the Saints are praying for your child, which fits a Baptism, and it is a sturdy, faith-filled alternative to candy in an Easter basket.
Is there a second Peek-a-boo Saints book?
Yes. Peek-a-boo Saints 2 introduces a new group of Saints in the same slider format, and both books come together in the Peek-a-boo Saints Board Book Bundle.
