Did you know that November is the month to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory? It is our job as Church Militant on earth to pray for those who have died, in God’s great mercy to help them to Heaven. Some years, the losses are many, some years, they are less.

After a year of much loss, I created these candle wraps as a reminder and as a balm to my sorrowful heart to remember to pray for my beloved family members who have passed. Simply download and  print off the page, cut, and wrap around a dollar store glass candle. 

The first is a wrap for miscarried babies. I have lost four sweet babies and one design is to specifically to pray for my babies by name.

Another wrap has the words of St. Gertrude. It goes like this:

Eternal Father, I offer You the most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.

 

The third is one to write the names of loved ones who have passed with the prayer:

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
~Amen~

I leave these candles up as decor for the month of November and light them as a reminder to pray for my loved ones who have passed.
