The Church in her wisdom ties in the newness of spring time and the Easter season with the Sacraments of Initiation. All sacraments give us life on Earth to bring us closer to Heaven. They are the visible and invisible reality of our faith, an outward expression of faith. Invisibly, we cannot “see” God’s grace, the free and loving gift which He gives to us all.
In the springtime, the Church especially welcomes the Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. Many who go through RCIA receive these sacraments during the Easter Vigil, the Mass of all Masses. If you haven't gone to an Easter Vigil, we highly recommend that one Easter you do!
