These board books are exactly what every catholic parent needs in their life and kids’ library. We like to bring them along to mass because they’re quiet, adorable and entertaining! I can’t say enough good things about all of the books we’ve bought from the little rose shop! We LOVE them!

So incredibly thoughtfully designed in every detail from the tactile/sensory engagement for little fingers to trace the numbers to the interactive flaps and eye-catching illustrations, every page is packed with a deeply meaningful and engaging learning opportunity!

This book is great for little kids

My baby loves all the books and I love how they teach him the faith in an interactive way.

Our 2 1/2 year old absolutely loved it for his Easter basket. It is very sturdy and well put together. Gorgeous pictures and the number grooves are great. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter (2) loves this book! My infant twins also enjoy looking at the pages and trying to flip the tabs :)

I bought this for my grandson. I can’t wait to see him learning his letters while he learns about out faith!

Catholic ABC and 123 board books are excellent for learning our Faith.

I just wrote a review for a couple of the quiet books. There are choking hazards there for young babies too.

My child is 10 months old, and on the first day of reading this book, he was able to rip off one of the flaps for the 10 Commandments. If I wasn't looking, he would have put it into his mouth. He could have tried to chew and swallow that piece of card paper, which would have posed a choking hazard.

These books are unfortunately not actually safe for babies, even though the advertisement says "Catholic 123 Board Book for Babies and Young Readers."

It is possible to make a book like this baby-proof.

We have another peekaboo book that uses felt, and my baby has not been able to rip anything off, even though he has tried. For this other peekaboo book, there are no easy-to-tear pieces that could be a danger to a child. When children are able to easily rip off pieces of a children's book, not only is it dangerous, it also quickly ruins the beauty of the book.

Unfortunately, I can't even let my baby play with the book without me carrying it and reading it to him -there are so many flaps in the book a baby or young child could rip and try to swallow.

Books like "Goodnight Moon," or "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" are secular, but they are classics. This is not just because they are, like this book, beautiful - it is because they are durable.

They stand the test of time. They are made with quality and are meant for children to hand down to their kids when they grow up.

For these Little Rose Shop books to become classic staples in every Catholic household, they have got to be more durable. They are certainly beautiful and we love the messages in this book (A+ on that!). So it is unfortunate young children cannot easily get lost in the beauty of this book because it is so hazardous to them.

We could not in good conscience recommend these books to parents of young children. We might give these books another try if they can show they've improved on the durability. Otherwise, we are looking elsewhere.

Cleverly written, simply explains the basics of our Catholic faith, beautifully illustrated, textured pages, lift up flaps are engaging to babies and toddlers. Very impressed with this book and can’t wait to give to our granddaughter!
